Vegetarian restaurants are hard to come by in Sarajevo. Almost more annoyingly, you will quite possibly encounter an undercurrent of pride among many of the men of this relatively macho population who’ll insinuate or just straight up tell you that meat is the only real food. Take a look at our introduction to Traditional Restaurants in Sarajevo for more on this.
The above acknowledged, there are still a number of decent vegetarian options in Sarajevo if this is what you are looking for. Just to note: I’ve not included any of the restaurants I put on the other restaurant category lists here, even though many of them do provide a number of very good vegetarian options.
Falafel
Falafel restaurant make few things and they make them well. The falafel, humus, mutabel, flat bread, and tabuleh are delicious. The restaurant itself is small with a fast food kinda vibe. There are a couple of tables downstairs, a few more upstairs, and a couple outide.
One of the best things about this restaurant however, is its close proximity to a bar called the Board Room. Not only is Falafel Restaurant directly opposite the Board Room, but you can order your food to the bar and eat it with a drink.

Falafel etc.
Vibe is fast food esque. It's not a place you would sit down for a 'proper' meal in
$$ Very good value
Amazing location in Baščaršija, just next to a very nice bar where you can eat your falafel
Bistro Zdravo is truly one of a kind in the Bosnian context. It's a contemporary, vegan bistro and concept store. The decor is fresh and relaxed, inviting you to hangout after you finish your meal and read the paper or something.
The place also does amazing juices and coffee with all of the milks you could want (as a vegan). The only slightly annoying aspect of this restaurant from a tourist perspective is the location; while not very far away, I recommend you take a taxi there. Sadly this is just a brunch / lunch / late lunch spot as it closes at 18:00, so you'll have to find dinner elsewhere.

Vegan bistro - breakfast and lunch spot
Contemporary and relaxed, with a concept store, and NON smoking
$$ Good Value
Bit of an awkward location, but worth the short trip
Govinda is a great, non-pretentious vegetarian restaurant with a daily menu. They also often have gluten free food. Sadly, they recently closed their restaurant location, but still offer delivery while they are searching for a new location.
While it might not be ideal for a tourist just in town for a few days, if you're around for longer, it's a very good option.
I have a love-hate relationship with this place. The restaurant is cosy and intimate and, despite what seems like an overly extensive menu, the food is good.
My issues, though both small, are the general need to plan ahead to eat here. You may not get a table (even if there is space if you don't book ahead) and it can take a decent while for the food to arrive. I recommend you eat here, but book in advance, and be prepared for a long meal.
Karuzo details
Vegetarian food - a wide range
An oddly cosy nautical theme. You'll also find an edition of the chef's own cook book lying around
$$$ Reasonably good value
Very well located, just behind the Pijaca Markale market square
